What treasures will you find?

The Tea Time Treasures Boutique will feature the work of selected Lowcountry artists and craftsmen. Items will include hand-crafted wooden boxes and crosses, slate cheese boards, and framed artwork. There are tall metal cranes and shore birds, elephant motif items, planters and plant stands. These are in addition to “summer giftware,” original note cards, colorful pottery, serving pieces, silver necklaces, bracelets and earrings, scarves from the Holy Land, small furniture pieces, gifts for babies and children, and St. Matthew’s memorabilia.

While the St. Matthew’s Tea Room will not return until May 2020, the Tea Time Treasures boutique will sell sweet treats and flavored iced teas, which you may enjoy in the courtyard while taking a break in the shade.

Docents are on duty (11:00 am – 3:00 pm, Monday – Saturday) to show you the beauty of the magnificent St. Matthew’s sanctuary.

When you shop with us you help the Charleston Community and enable us to continue to support others in need. Proceeds from the boutique will support Community Outreach Center programs including English as a Second Language (ESL), Sharing with a Neighbor (SWAN), Next Steps of Charleston, and an emergency food pantry. All programs are funded entirely by donations, grants, and proceeds earned through fundraising events.  To learn more about the Community Outreach Center of St. Matthew’s please visit smlccharleston.org/coc
